WHAT IS ENERGY HEALING?
Energy healing is a holistic practice that activates the body's subtle energy systems to remove blocks.
By breaking through these energetic blocks, the body's inherent ability to heal itself is stimulated, returning to homeostasis.
One of the first lessons most of us learned in high school physics class is that all matter is made up of molecules - which are constantly in motion. Even something that is solid, such as a table, is made up of molecules that are vibrating all the time.
As humans, we, too, are vibrating. As are crystals.
When you say someone has "good vibes," you are really talking about that person's vibrational energy—and happy people tend to vibrate on a higher frequency.
To maintain vibrant health, the body needs its energies to have energetic space to flow freely throughout the body. When energies become blocked because of traumas, toxins, prolonged stress, and muscular constrictions, it creates disturbances in the energy flow in our bodies, which over time contributes to mental, emotional issues and/or ailments and physical disease. Energy healing allows us to remove these blocks.
MY JOURNEY
After years of struggling with my own darkness, I came back to what I knew best, seeking answers from a holistic perspective, after confusion on the western medicine side. I started working on myself and training to help find, heal and know my authentic self.
In the summer of 2017, I officially started offering services as Dakota Moon Reiki & Crystals. A few short months later, I hosted my first women's healing event for a group of individuals I had met at a retreat. The spark had been ignited - I had found my calling.
Since then, I have moved to Mountain View County (just South of Sundre, Alberta) to a beautiful and magical acreage, Sacred Forest Acres, where Confluence Energy Holistics was born.
The definition of Confluence is “a coming or flowing together”, which rings true when it comes to Confluence Energy Holistics. So many aspects have merged in order for Confluence to become what it is. A merging of my own personal light and darkness, a merging of life path and business, and the merging of emotion, energy, higher self, animal connection, crystals, and sacred geometry that I seek to provide my clients.

Nestled in Mountain View County, Sacred Forest Acres is Confluence's home, yet it is so much more than that.
Sacred Forest Acres is where you can get hopelessly lost in the woods without leaving the deck and the melody of singing birds kiss your heart at every turn. It's where the mystical encounters marry with nature and the calming breeze brings healing to the soul. It’s a safe place to be yourself.
Even the symbolism of being between Fallen Timber and Burnt Timber roads is where the energy rises back up in new growth. Anyone who visits wants to come back or teases they never want to leave. There is an instant release of energy grounding and coming down when guests arrive.
Most of the almost 10 acres are treed, it has an ever-evolving walking path, where you will be joined by the resident 3 dogs & 4 cats. Along with seeing Mother Natures’ wildlife on your travels or while visiting. The forest welcomes you to come sit among the trees and hear the whispers of your soul become more clear. Staring into the power of fire and bearing your fears and vulnerability is a common occurrence; while being still in non-judgment by those who share in the experience. That’s how my husband and I knew this was HOME.
Sacred Forest Acres bodes a private, seasonal rustic cabin that is complete with an indoor bathroom and invigorating outdoor shower which can be rented. Sharing the essence of this beautiful location is a holistic experience that is sure to unlock guidance to a higher vibrational level.
I received a session with Char and she changed my life trajectory. Or rather she held space for me and facilitated healing that I was ready for mentally, emotionally, and physically. That session gave me the courage to move forward with change and now I have embarked on a journey I didn’t dream for me because I never considered it possible. I’m so grateful to Char, I’m overwhelmed with love and emotion when I talk about that session. Eternally grateful.

The short answer is: everyone!
Energy Healing is available to everyone. There is often a misconception that you need to be spiritual to be open and receptive to energy healing.
Energy healing is readily available to everyone who is interested and willing to receive it - you don’t need to be spiritual or hypersensitive to energies to benefit.
As humans (just like every living being), we all have an energetic body that needs to be balanced and taken care of regularly.
Energy medicine modalities, transcend time and space. Therefore, you don’t have to be located in the same room, city, or even country as your energy healer to receive and benefit from energy healing treatment.

Yes! Our energetic bodies are intertwined with our physical bodies. All the traumas we carry physically, emotionally, and psychologically impact the functionality of our energy systems (chakras) and vice versa.

On average I schedule sessions for one hour. I do not control the pace at which energy works.
At times, my client will accelerate and not require the full time allocated and at others. I am committed to seeing you through the process of the session even if it takes a little longer.
If it feels right, you are more than welcome to explore additional sessions with me; I am always there for you to realize your full protentional.

In-Person sessions and workshops are available at my beautiful acreage located in Mountain View County, AB.
Alternatively, I offer distanced sessions/workshops over Zoom - there are no place or time boundaries when it comes to energy.

Energy treatments begin with a consultation, allowing us time to connect and explore what you'd like to achieve during the session.
During the Energy treatment, which is a full body experience, you may feel warmth, coolness, traveling throughout the body, or simply feel total relaxation.
Some people who are more visual may experience colours or visuals. Others may take a nap. Conscious or not, the universal energy is working optimally.

The most important thing to do after an Energy Session is to LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. You may feel the desire to take a walk, have a nap, or go for a bath/shower.
The second most important is to drink lots of water to keep your cells hydrated as the energy intergrates. Remember that the energy can continue over the next 7-10 days to shift vibrations.
